Nigerian Nollywood actresses, Laide Bakare and Chizzy Alichi on Sunday fought each other in a Celebrity Boxing Match.
Videos captured the moment the duo actresses engaged in the fight as Laide Bakare represented the blue corner while Alichi represented the red corner.
Alichi claimed to have emerged victorious at the end of the match, took to her Instagram page to celebrate the win.
She also shared photos of herself posing with the trophy.
The actress expressed gratitude for her
colleagues and the organizers of the show for creating a medium for them to have “fun”.
She wrote “We Won! About last night, thank you guys for coming out. I appreciate my colleagues.

Laide Bakare, in a separate post on her Instagram page, also claimed to be the winner of the contest and planned to host a victory party in celebration of her championship in Lekki on Sunday, March 3rd.
The actress described herself as the
honorable champion of the boxing match.
She wrote “CALL ME HONORABLE CHAMPION, I will be hosting a victory party in celebration of my championship in Lekki this Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Come one come all.”
She also shared photos of herself posing with the trophy.
Meanwhile, in another controversial post, Laide Bakere frowned at netizens tagging her as a loser of the celebrity global fight championship, and said she “will never tolerate this act of manipulation and lies.”
She wrote “I have decided not to Ever fight on social media BUT THIS PARTICULAR
ONE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT
