Niger Tornadoes FC dethroned their junior team (Tornadoes Feeders) to win the 2024 Niger State Federation Cup competition.
Bashir Usman’s 40th-minute penalty goal after he was pulled down in the box was all the Ikon Allah Boys needed to lift the giant trophy.
Tornadoes Feeders were the defending champions and began the encounter highly determined to retain their trophy until they conceded the goal.
Despite effort in the second half with several incursions at goal, the senior team kept it tight at the back and saw out the game.
Niger Tornadoes Feeders were highly impressive in their approach to the game and the ‘never say die spirit’ they exhibited was a thing to reckon with.
The two teams shall represent Niger State at the National Federation Cup Competition.
