The Ido/Osi APC Elders Forum received with shock and consternation the unsavory news of the abduction of the State Chairman of our great party: Barrister Paul Omotoso, by Unknown gunmen on Saturday evening along Agbado-Imesi-Ekiti road.
More disturbing in the news is that the perpetrators of this devilish act, in their desperate bid to carry out this heinious act deployed arms and other dangerous weapons.
This Press Release is to identify with the victim, our leader, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the immediate family members, members of our party and indeed the State government who are traumatized in varying degrees over this unfortunate incident.
It is therefore our prayer and hope that God will touch the hearts of these evil doers and release Barr: Paul Omotoso back home safe and sound.
We enjoin all our party members and indeed all the good people of Ekiti State to join us in our fervent prayers for his early release and also volunteer information that could assist security operatives in their rapid response to rescue our dear Chairman back home unhurt.
The forum empathizes with the immediate family members and encourages them not to be downcast but have absolute assurance that their breadwinner will soon join them unhurt by the grace of God
