Abdullahi Adamu,National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that President Bola Tinubu is yet to unveil his new ministers because he’s doing extensive consultation.
Adamu made this known on Monday in Abuja, during a meeting with APC Chairman across the country.
He said, “The president has just started. And he is doing his extensive consultation before coming up with his nominees for ministers.
“The nomination of the ministers will come first. They will go through their screening until they are pronounced after they have been submitted by Mr. President.
“And Mr. President will formally appoint his ministers and swear them in.
“Only after doing that will he disclose each of them to the country to know which minister is going to which ministry, and how many ministries we are going to have,” Adamau said.
There are strong indications that no fewer than five former governors will feature in the president’s list of nominees that is heading to the Senate for approval between now and next week.
The unusual list, already dubbed the ‘cabinet of (political) unity’, will have nominees drawn from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and many technocrats.
