Popular Osun Islamic Cleric, Imam Afonta Dies

Information reaching us is that a popular Osogbo-based Islamic cleric, Sheik Abdulwahab Banni Afonta, is dead.

According to the report, the cleric died today 16th of December, 2023.

At the time of filing this report, details of his death and burial arrangement were still sketchy.

On his Facebook handle, Afonta TV, a post referencing to his death stating ” Gone too soon Lisanu Soliheen.  Glory to HIM who had no beginning and no end 😭😭😭. Every breath will taste death…..
