The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday probed the Secretary to Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, over alleged ballot papers printing fraud leveled against him.

IdanNews gathered that DSS examined Talabi for several hours at the DSS state command headquarters in Abeokuta.

The allegations against Talabi include his alleged involvement with Superflux Printing Limited, a company that is believed to be owned by him.

However, it was gathered that Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, had lodged a petition with multiple authorities, including the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, Code of Conduct Bureau, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The petition demands a comprehens/ive investigation into the alleged nexus between the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and a printing enterprise purportedly owned by Talabi during the recent electoral proceedings.

Sources say the DSS intensified its scrutiny of the SSG following a counter-petition filed by Talabi himself, aimed at addressing the accusations levied against him.

During the probing, attention was directed at the alleged involvement of Superflux Printing Limited, a company entangled in the Covid-19 palliative controversy. The DSS reportedly questioned Talabi about financial transactions associated with Ogun State, as well as the company’s role in the 2023 elections.
