The North China Construction Nigeria Limited on Thursdays expressed readiness to partner with the Oyo State Water Corporation on the rehabilitation of Asejire and Eleyele Water Supply Schemes.
China firm during a visit of its delegates, led by the Chairman, China Construction, Wu Guoqi and Managing Director, Dr Osadebe Osakwe, expressed that the firm is ready to collaborate in reconstruction of water reservoirs and laying of pipes to designated areas across the State.
He also said China Construction is interest in other projects scattered across the State, so as to work to optimum capacity.
Osakwe noted that the schemes of the Corporation can be useful for irrigation, which would in turn boost the economy of the State and provide employment opportunities for youth.
However, Hon. Elias Adeojo, the Chairman, Oyo state Water Corporation, in his address said the State Government is experiencing developmental strides, due to the leadership strides of Engr. Seyi Makinde, who has turned Oyo State to investors’ delight.
He noted that the Governor has provided an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and that the State is opened to accommodate more interested investors.
