Chairman, members of Osun House of Assembly Service Commission resume office

Osun State House of Assembly Service Commission on Monday inaugurated the new Chairman House of Assembly Service Commission and members confirmed by the lawmakers.

The event was held at the premises of the Assembly’s Commission.

The Chairman of the House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Adekunle Oyekunle in his brief remarks appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Speaker of the Parliament. Hon. Adewale Egbedun for their gestures towards their appointments.

He also applauded every principal officer of the House of Assembly for their contributions, describing the appointments as a will of God Almighty and new down in the Service Commission.

He admonished the people of the state to have good thoughts about the state and government, pledging to build good relationships with both House of Assembly and House of Assembly Service Commission staff.

He solicited the support of every staff member of both the House of Assembly and the Service Commission.

Earlier, in their separate sermons, the House of Assembly Chapline, Pastor Ayeni Muyiwa and Chief Imam of Osun House of Assembly Mosque, lmam Abdulfatai Adebisi thanked God for their appointments.

The duo sought God’s guidance and directives through their tenure in office, citing Joseph in the Bible at Potepher’s house to buttress his sermon.
The religious leaders are also advised to always uphold and remember to put God first in their endeavours.

They also prayed for success and protection through the tenure of office.

“Influence may come from anywhere, determining the career progression of the civil servants.

It’s a rare grace to have emerged in this post. What you need from God is God’s direction in all steps.

You have to be extraordinarily careful, and patient in taking action. The grace to excel in this office, the Lord will supply you”.
