A 21-year-old medical student, Chipo Lufwandika died at her boyfriend’s Levy Mwanawasa house while visiting.
The 27-year-old boyfriend from Woodlands in Lusaka has been detained by police in connection with the death of the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University student.
She was said to have visited her boyfriend in Woodlands, and on the 27th of August, 2023 he took her to the hospital, claiming she had slipped and hit her head.
However, her friends later confronted him at the funeral house, leading to the revelation that the initial story was false.
Police have now launched an investigation into the matter, and the suspect is in custody.
