The FCT Police Commissioner, CP Ben Igwe, has declared that members of the Shi’ite group involved in the unprovoked attack of its personnel would be haunted.
The Commissioner stated this Sunday evening, after the unfortunate incident that took place at Wuse Junction in Abuja, leading to the death of two officers and four others who are unconscious.
Igwe also disclosed that 75 of the group members have been arrested and presently in custody.
He challenged the group to come out to confront them one-on-one.
“Arrest cannot bring back the lives lost. I’m in pain for them to fold their hands and watch these idiots killing their personnel”, he fumed.
The CP confirmed the killing of two officers and 4 others critically injured and unconscious in the hospital.
He assured FCT residents of their safety, reiterating that the group would be subdued in no time.
He confirmed alerting all other states commissioners to support the move to haunt down the Shiites group.
Igwe, however, said that the Police will obey international justice while dealing with the proscribed group.
