The communal clash between Ilobu and Ifon-Osun has claimed another three lives on Monday as the two communities resumed hostilities over land disputes.

It was gathered that the three deaths were recorded in the two communities located in Orolu and Irepodun Local Government Areas of Osun State, as the clash created tension that resulted to residents and shop owners scampered for safety on Monday evening.

She said: “We have sent our squad to the local government areas. They were briefed before they left. We are working around the situation.”

When contacted, the Otun Jagun of Ilobu, Chief Leke Ogunsola, explained that one of his tribesmen was killed by Ifon natives.
