Two Nigerian Judges die in 24 hours

Justice Chima Centus (CC) Nweze age 64th. and Justice Peter Mallong age 60th

Nigeria lost Supreme Court of Nigeria Judge, Justice Chima Centus (CC) Nweze age 64th. and a Federal High Court (FHC) Judge, Justice Peter Mallong, age 60th.

The two Justice reportedly dead on Sunday after a brief illness.

Justice Peter Mallong is from Kaduna Federal High Court Division, born on January 21, 1963, in Yauri, Kebbi. He is a native of Plateau State and died on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 in Abuja.

However, Justice Chima Centus (CC) Nweze of the Supreme Court of Nigeria reported died on Sunday, aged 64.

Justice Nweze was born on September 25, 1958. a native of Obollo, Udenu local government area of Enugu State.

Meanwhile, The incident is confirmed in a statement issued on Monday, by Chief Registrar of FHC, Hassan Amida Sulaiman.

The statement reads: “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our own, Hon. Justice Peter Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, who passed away on Sunday unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja.

“We will miss him more than words can express.

“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”
