Nigerian Actor and human rights activist, actor Yomi Fabiyi has said using the Bible or Quran to swear in political officeholders is counterproductive as it has no connection to the root-creation of the land.
The actor noted that there would not be corruption among Nigerian political office holders and organization leaders if they were taking the oath of office with (Sango) gods of thunder or god of Iron (Ogun). He asserted “Nothing will happen if Nigeria office holder didn’t steal na. Nigeria will be better than UAE.”
Fabiyi stated this on his official Instagram page while sharing a video of a woman who cast a spiritual spell of bees to handcuff a man who allegedly stole from her before escorting or ordering him to the Police Station for proper prosecution and punishment according to the laws of the land.
The actor noted that there is a reason each region of the world has its mode of worship and religious practice, that should be peculiar to how the majority reaches God and forms tools of guidance for all political leaders and captains of industries.
According to him “STRANGE BUT TRUE: This man in white/creamy shirt allegedly stole from the woman in the red gown. Upon apprehension, the woman cast a spiritual spell of “bees” to handcuff him before escorting or ordering him to the Police Station for proper prosecution and punishment according to the laws of the land.
“Whether the bees around his hand tied has any form of infection or negative effect on the guy, it cannot be independently verified. But with the look of things, if he absconds with that spiritual handcuff, he will need a relevant spiritual welder to help free him. So, his best option is to wait
and allow the Police to intervene.
“MY TAKE: Depending on the region, I
still believe there is a reason each region of the world has its mode of worship and religious practices, that should be peculiar to how the majority reaches God and form tools of guide for all political leaders and captains of industries. That leaders and masses have deviated, we swore political office holders with religious books that have no connection to the root-creation of our land.
“Using the Bible or Quran to swear when taking the oath of office on a land established and given to African Deities and Ancestors is counterproductive. Picture our political office holders in Nigeria swearing with Sango or god of Iron (Ogun).
“Individuals can practice any of the three major religion, but oath of office and main accepted way of religious practice should be our traditional way, that is not idol worshipping.
“Even though some British, Americans practice African Religions, no way the political society of these regions will accept IRON as a means of swearing of oaths. Same for Saudi, Dubai, Qatar, etc. And their children and regions are doing well and welcome all humans of different faiths.”
