S’Court judgement: Atiku to speak on national issues

 

Baring any last-minute change in plans, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, with address a world press conference on Monday, 30th October.

Atiku’s address will border on some crucial national issues.

This was disclosed in a statement by the PDP Publicity Office on Saturday.

The statement read, “The presidential candidate of our great party, the PDP, in the February 25, 2023, presidential election and former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, GCON, Wazirin Adamawa, will address a crucial press conference on issues of serious importance to the nation.

“Date: Monday, October 30, 2023. Venue: PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja. Time: 11 am Prompt.”

The planned world press conference was announced about 48 hours after the Supreme Court dismissed Atiku’s appeal against President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election.

Atiku’s party, PDP, had described the Supreme Court judgement as ‘disappointing’.
