PHOTOS: Late Access Bank CEO, family’s remains arrive in Nigeria for final rites

The remains of Herbert Wigwe, the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, along with those of his wife and son, have been repatriated to Nigeria.

Their corpses arrived at the Port Harcourt International Airport from the United States on Friday.

The funeral ceremony for the Wigwes is scheduled to take place on Saturday at Isiokpo, Herbert Wigwe’s hometown, located in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State.

Herbert Wigwe, his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash at the border of Nevada and California in the US last month.

Since their untimely demise, tributes have been pouring in for Herbert Wigwe, with sympathizers reflecting on his impactful deeds during his lifetime.
