Paris 2024: Super Falcons thrash Ethiopia 4 – 0

The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Tuesday booked a place in the next qualifying round of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France after thrashing Ethiopia 4-0 at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The Super Falcons had earlier drawn Ethiopia 1-1 when they met in the first leg in Addis Ababa, on Wednesday, October 25.

Uchenna Kanu opened the goal for The Super Falcons at half-time.

Ajibade doubled Nigeria’s lead five minutes after the restart of second half with a wonderful assist from Asisast Oshoala from the right wing.

The Barcelona striker scored the third goal in the 68th minute after turning in Kanu’s brilliant cross.

Oshoala turned provider once again as she set up Ajibade for her second goal of the game in the 72nd minute to give the Super Falcons a comfortable 4-0 win.
