The Oyo State House of Assembly on Thursday’s commiserating with the House Majority leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin who lost his son, Faith in an auto crash on Wednesday Night.
Faith is a 500-level accounting student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), who alongside with some of his mates was involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday, September 26, while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa waterfall in Osun state.
Oyo Assembly described the news of untimely death as a painful rude shock that is heavy to swallow.
The incident, which occurred around Ilobu-Okinni-Oshogbo in Osun state reportedly claimed two lives of the students and the bus driver, while others sustain injury.
The lawmakers in a statement issued by the Chairman of the House Committee on Information and Public Affairs, Waheed Akintayo urged the family to take it with total submission to the will of God.
The statement reads in part: “The news of his demise was received with a deep sense of loss but in total submission to the will of the Almighty, Unquestionable and all-knowing God whose ways transcend human knowledge.
“On behalf of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and other Honourable members, we pray that the Lord comfort, and grant the Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We just want you to know that our thoughts are with you and your family. We are wishing you and your family courage and peace during this time of mourning.”
