Ondo: Workers disgrace commissioner after cabinet dissolution

A mild drama occurred on Wednesday as the former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of Ondo State, Charles Titiloye, was booed by workers at the state Ministry of Justice.

This followed the dissolution of the State Executive Council by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa earlier in the day.

In a video seen, the workers besieged the corridor leading to the office of the commissioner as they taunted him with abusive songs.

They were also heard chanting, “Titiloye has locked himself up, he can’t step out.”

The protest lasted while they waited for him to exit the premises after the announcement.

It, however, took the intervention of a team of policemen who arrived at the premises to calm the situation.

The workers who were unbothered by the presence of the security operatives, booed the commissioner as he finally stepped out of his office.

Titiloye, who was guarded by policemen, thereafter entered his vehicle and drove hurriedly out of the premises.
