The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has announced plans to embark on a two-day warning strike beginning on the 5th of September, 2023 in protest against the Federal Government’s failure to address the challenges being faced by Nigerians over the fuel subsidy removal.
The NLC President, Joe Ajaero, issued the threat after the union’s National Executive Council on the 1st of September, 2023.
Labour also berated the Federal Government for interfering in the affairs of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), saying it would do everything to resist such undue interference.
