Niger Tornadoes set to battle Shooting Stars for maximum points

The Ikon Allah Boys have been charged to come out all guns blazing to tackle this weekend’s opponent Shooting Stars SC of Ibadan with every seriousness and determination to win.

Acting head coach Majin Mohammed while addressing his players during the team’s final preparation ahead of the Monday game said, “A win against Shooting Stars is our major objective because we can’t afford to drop more points in our matches, especially home games, if we want to safeguard our NPFL status. So we must put everything it requires, both mentally, physically, and psychologically to amass the maximum points 3SC on Monday.

Tornadoes suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in Ibadan during the first-leg encounter and the Ikon Allah Boys are ready to make amends.

Akintunde Azeez who scored the solitary goal against Enyimba in the last match is in vain of form and faces his former club with the mindset to wreak havoc.

Bashir Usman made the trip and is available for selection.

Tornadoes sit one place above the red zone with 30 points while the visitors are 7th on the log with 40 points.
