India PM invites President Tinubu to attend G20 Summit in New Delhi

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has invited Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to attend the G20 summit scheduled for the 9th and 10th of September in New Delhi, India. 

IdanNews learnt that the G20 summit is crucial for discussing pressing global issues, including economic challenges, climate change, trade, and security matters. 

The Nigerian presidency says President Tinubu’s attendance underscores Nigeria’s commitment to international cooperation and addressing global challenges.

During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to engage in discussions with other world leaders, sharing perspectives on critical matters and exploring opportunities for international cooperation and partnerships that benefit Nigeria and the African continent.

”This participation is a testament to Nigeria’s active role in the international arena and its dedication to contributing to solutions for global challenges. 

”President Tinubu’s presence at the G20 summit is anticipated to strengthen further Nigeria’s diplomatic ties and foster cooperation on a range of critical issues,” a presidential source noted.
