Idahosa emerges APC candidate for Edo governorship election

In a significant development, Representative Dennis Idahosa, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, has emerged as the party’s candidate for the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for September 21st.

This announcement was made by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who served as the Chairman of the APC Edo governorship primary election committee. Governor Uzodimma disclosed this after the election which was held on Saturday in Benin.

He revealed that Rep. Dennis Idahosa secured a notable victory by garnering a total of 40,483 votes, surpassing eight other aspirants in the keenly contested race.
