Humanitarian Minister commends United Arab Emirates at 52 anniversary

The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu has commended the United Arab Emirates as they Celebrate 52nd Independence.

Anniversary with the Theme “Today for Tomorrow” The year 2023 is dedicated to sustainability, under the theme, ‘Today for Tomorrow’.

It’s their ‘Year of Sustainability’ which will include initiatives, activities, and events that draw upon the UAE’s values of sustainability and the legacy of its Founding President, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The UAE Ambassador to Nigeria His Excellency, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi Hosted the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation along with other Ministers and key Government officials to mark the anniversary event chaired by the Deputy Speaker Hon. Benjamin Kalu.

Speaking the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Commended the UAE for an exceptional Developmental stride.

The minister said that Nigeria and the UAE can collaborate to expand the frontiers of investment and Humanitarian support.

The honorable minister for humanitarian and poverty alleviation Dr Betta Edu looks forward to a fruitful engagement at COP 28.
