Gunmen kill motorcyclist in Oyo

A commercial motorcyclist has been reportedly killed by yet-to-be-identified gunmen suspected to be armed robbers in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The incident occurred Sunday night at Olorunda Aba town in Lagelu Local Government Area of the state.

A source who claimed anonymity said that the motorcyclist was conveying his assailants to an unknown destination before he was attacked and killed.

According to the source, “The (gunmen) went away with his motorcycle. ”

Efforts to get police reaction were not successful as the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso’s mobile number was not reachable.
