President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, removed the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof Umar Danbatta in a transformative change that cut across the communication Agency.

The changes affected the Postmaster General of the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) Sunday Adepoju and the CEO of Nigeria Communication Satellite Limited (NigComSat), Tukur Mohammed Lawal Funtua.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity made the announcement on Wednesday in Abuja.

Nkechi Egerton-Idehen was named as the MD/CEO of NIGCOMSAT to take over the reign from Tukur Mohammed Lawal Funtua in the new appointments.

Ajuri in the statement said Danbatta is replaced by Aminu Maida as the EVC/CEO of the NCC.

However, At NIPOST, Tola Odeyemi was named as the Postmaster General / CEO, to replace Sunday Adepoju.
