A Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, a.k.a Kizz Daniel, has been arrested and detained in Ivory Coast by CAF.
Kizz Daniel, was allegedly refusing to perform at a gig in Ivory Coast despite being paid a considerable sum of $150,000.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday, October 12, 2023, when Kizz Daniel stayed backstage and did not come on stage to entertain the audience.
As a result, he was arrested and is presently detained by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This is not the first time Kizz Daniel has faced legal consequences for refusing to perform at a show.
Last year, he was arrested in Tanzania under similar circumstances.
