‘Be patient with me’, Tinubu tells Nigerian youths

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for the patience and understanding of Nigerians, particularly the youths, assuring them that the hardships of the moment will eventually give way to a more prosperous, equitable and inclusive economy.

President Tinubu gave the assurance on Thursday at the State House while receiving All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leaders from across the 36 States of the federation and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The President told the youths that his administration would include them in governance, and decision-making processes, adding that “no decision would be too difficult for his administration to take for the prosperity and unity of the nation.’’

Recall that, Nigerians are groaning over the decision of President Tinubu on fuel subsidy removal that causes the increment on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Just as Nigerians were trying to cope with the N500 per litre after the fuel subsidy removal, several Nigerians were caught unguarded by the sudden increment of the price of petrol to N617 per litre across the country.

The hike in the petroleum product is the second time in the barely two-month-old administration of President Bola Tinubu.

However, these have contributed negatively to the well-being of the common man as the hike in everything including foodstuff hit harder.
